The face and reason behind Nest & Nook cleaning co.
Hey! I'm Maranda, I started Nest & Nook Cleaning Co. as a mom of four who knows firsthand how quickly life can become overwhelming. After my youngest son was born, I battled something so many mothers experience but often keep to themselves: postpartum depression. During that season of my life, I was doing my best just to get through each day, and the thing that suffered the most was my home. The mess slowly piled up, and what might have seemed like a simple house cleaning task to someone else felt like an impossible mountain to climb for me.
When I finally found the strength to get my home back in order, something changed. It wasn’t just that my house was clean; I felt like I could finally breathe again. My mind felt clearer, my stress felt lighter, and I began to feel a little more like myself. That experience showed me just how deeply our surroundings can affect how we feel on the inside. It made me realize that sometimes, having a clean home isn’t about perfection or appearances. It’s about creating a space where you can rest, reset, and feel at peace.
That is where my motto, “Clean House. Clean Mind.” comes from. It isn’t just a catchy phrase to me; it’s personal. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, to fall behind, and to look around your home and not know where to begin. I also know the relief that comes with finally having a fresh start. I created Nest & Nook because I want to give that feeling to other people, especially the moms, busy families, and individuals who may be struggling silently or simply need a little help. I want my clients to know that there is no judgment here, no shame in asking for help, and no need to have a perfectly clean home before calling me. You deserve to feel comfortable in your own space, too. If I can take even a little weight off someone’s shoulders and help them feel more at peace in their home, then I know I’m doing something that truly matters.
"Having Nest & Nook Cleaning Co. step in lifted so much weight off our shoulders. There was absolutely zero judgment, just genuine warmth, thorough attention to detail, and a wonderfully fresh home."
